PHAST's audio equipment is very well known to our home audiophiles. PHAST name is an acronym for Phase Style, which in 1998 replaced the "Phase" - original name of the company, founded in 1988 in Lviv. Phast's current offer is not too large, but interesting. Includes both power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers and preamplifiers. It is difficult to collect reliable information on device models offered over the years in each group. On the company's website there are presented details only for the latest equipment, and some produced in small quantities and are no longer offered . This report is dedicated to the audio set which consists of two monoblocks based on the famous "devil" output tubes and remote-controlled preamplifier.

The full set is shown in Fig. 1. As you can see the manufacturer took care of a unified design line - this is not an usual practice even of the most well-known brands of audio production. A deficiency can give rise to the fact that due to the geometric dimensions, the user who does not have at least a two-deck table has no choice as to the mutual positioning of individual components. A big table should be used to create a really large area.

An extensive set of images is divided into two sections: the first is dedicated to the amplifier and the second is a gallery on the preamplifier.

Here are our tube monoblocks. They are beautiful . The manufacturer declares, that on user's request, the amplifiers can be equipped with a gain control potentiometer. As you can see, in any of the presented photographs the potentiometers are not installed - and rightly so, because we have a dedicated tube preamplifier .
