After the PS-1 control unit, I became the proud owner of 100Bis tube amplifier. This amplifier and PS-1 control unit constitute an electroacoustic set. More specifically, the set includes two such amplifiers and one control unit. Amplifier, which is presented below is of excellent condition. The only apparent damage (except for scratches resulting mainly from improper storage) is a small loss of the plastic shield, which acts as an amplifier decorative front panel.
Four photos of the amplifier with closed housing begin photographic presentation. It's design is not a good example to copy. It is even terribly austere and lacks the slightest hint of artistic strokes. Speaking directly - it looks terrible. It reminds me of the cover of the old container for storing bread - yuck.

After unscrewing the top and bottom cover, interior the amplifier appeared (another set of four photos). And here I feel much better. The interior is tidy, and power transformer and speaker used are even impressive. Now I know, why rotating and shifting the amplifier when taking photographs I injured all my muscles ;-).

Now, some details of the mechanical structure of the amplifier. As you can see, the designers did not go the easy way. Special brackets are provided for mounting sockets and fuses. The idea of a "Mercedes" design level. Unfortunately, implementation of this idea (traditionally for domestic construction of those years) of a "child bike" level.

Finally, an example of how a project can be mindlessly complicated. Multi-level superframe. Contrary to appearances, this is not a mechanical control system of spaceship but only mounting plate for power switch and a light bulb. Amazing, is't it?
